I am still amazed that each company with a turnover of approx 1MDR sek hasn’t got a P2P strategy. It is more than lowering invoice administration costs, it is more than nice spend charts. We are here talking about a strategy that includes visibility from what and how procurement works down to how and when an invoice is being processes and paid – not to mention relationships and agreements with suppliers and the what and how the organisation is allowed to make purchases at different amounts.
Pete Loughlin, who will join P2P Summit 2012 on the 21st of March (www.p2psummit.eu, swedish website with more details) has again published a very visible and probably quite provocative picture of ways to loose money through NOT having a P2P visibility and strategy.
