Isn’t it so that one of the biggest “issues” in the p2p and o2c development “glitch” is just the fact that there are many old dogs to teach hos to sit differently? Both on the systems and consultants side as on the end user side.
The e-invoicing, p2p, o2c, supply chan financing and financial supply chain debate is just that. A lot of old habits and taken for granted truths.
How on earth buyers are still oushing suppliers to the limit and still think thats a proper way of doing business and how e-invoicing is still by many not percieved as anything else than moving from a piece of paper into something electronic is beyond me.
Here is an article in the subject stareting of with “Ask a CFO why he shouldn’t pay suppliers early in return for lower prices and he or she is quite likely to say “It’s fine occasionally but generally it just gives a one-off hit”.”
