What ever conference you attend, what ever article you read and what ever business development experience you may have. You have probably learned that change management is the key to success. EBG founder Anna Bjärkerud have a behavioral science degree and the full understanding of the challenges in changing behavior and enabling real change in companies led to EBG.
How does EBG make sure you get the change management perspective during gatherings and summits?
- You do not only listen to people on a stage – you sit down depending on interest and discuss and learn from peers and experts
- Limited size group – you cannot have quality conversations with too many people in the room. Managing that mean limiting the number of seats available at a conference
- Round table discussions – EBG were among the very first who in 2010 started enabling small group round table discussions – all based on what each facilitator want to bring up for discussion
- More questions than statements – at the end whoever you talk to will be on a sliding development scale and discussions should take that into account
- Talk about the same thing in different ways – all want control and increased insights – ensuring you take a 360 look at people, process and technology (and in that order) ensure you don’t sub optimize
- Inviting curious and knowledgeable people to share experiences
Transitioning procurement during CPO Outlook 2024
What does it mean to change ways of working from a procurement perspective?
During a change management workshop EBG | Network hosted years back it was made clear by the facilitator that what ever time you allocate for a certain change initiative – you need to allocate 20% of the time for planning and 80% to follow up.
What does change management and transitioning from past ways of working to something new really mean?
During CPO Outlook 2024 really all is about change. Just have a look at the way to view and collaborate with suppliers. Look at what is being discussed developing sustainability processes and structures. Consider all the changed ways of using data and technology!
