EBG | Network are happy to start welcoming practitioners and expert organizations who are joining next years Source 2 Pay Summit in Stockholm. On March 28th we meet do dig deep into end-to-end strategies, operations and governance structures enabling sourcing, procurement and finance professionals to achieve set targets.
Someone who knows a lot about cross function business development is Antti Koski, Development Manager, Source-to-Pay at Finnair. He is joining the summit inviting You to share his round table discussions focusing on how to evaluate if the processes and technology you have is good enough.
Antti has a background from both Nokia and Microsoft and EBG are looking forward to the Theme Discussions he will host. The value in face to face, informal, to-the-point discussions where you can learn from peers and experts should not be underestimated!
About Finnair
Finnair is one of the world’s oldest operating airlines. They offer a gateway between Europe and Asia, via Helsinki. Finnair operate one of the youngest and most eco-efficient fleets and are a member of the oneworld alliance. Finnair is able to offer the shortest and fastest flight connections between Europe and Asia due to the geographical location of Helsinki on the great circle route between the continents. About Source 2 Pay Summit
The summit saw daylight for the first time in 2010. Since then we have met once a year, enabling sourcing, procurement and finance professionals to meet and discuss what is an end to end process – source to pay. EBG have yet to meet a single company that have it all “figured out”, controlled and automated. Why? Historically companies have divided organizations into functions and described what individuals within each function should and should not do. Metrics that measure part of what undoubtedly is an end to end process enhance the silos created.
EBG | Network want to bridge those organizational gaps by bringing functions together.
Why?
EBG have yet to meet a single company that have not a strategy to lower costs, be more efficient and increase the effect given by sourcing, procurement and finance. But how will they enable these transformations if all pieces of the puzzle don’t work together? Perhaps don’t even sit in the same country?
We never say we have all the answers – but we do offer ways to learn from other open minded professionals who share the same passion to grow and develop further.
At our conferences no one sit on a high horse, we do not use words like “best practice” and we never say it is easy. We do however ensure as many as is possible get to meet and share know how.
