Roni Bicér Att små och mellanstora företag (SME’s) har en utmaning att finna finansiering är inget nytt. Att banker på grund av olika bestämmelser rent av inte kan låna ut kapital till en hel del av dessa företag är som det är. Att små och mellanstora företag behöver kapital och att dessa företag anses vara en oerhört viktig del i byggandet av framtidens välfärd är en nöt som behöver knäckas.

Det görs en rad olika initiativ runt om i världen för att säkra kapital till SME’s. En hel del av dessa berör befintliga kapitalströmningar mellan köpare och leverantör, där begrepp som days sales outstanding och days payable outstanding inneburit paradoxala subotimeringar inom respektive företag.

Tjänster som factoring har funnits på svenska marknaden sedan början av 90-talet och även om fördomen att factoring främst är ett panikalternativ kan finnas kvar, så har branschen vuxit stort.

Att sälja sin faktura är ett alternativ till annan kortsiktig finansiering och det ska bli intressant att följa hur branschen utvecklas. Dels för att säkra kapital dels för att finna sätt att säkra ett mindre bolags möjligheter att erbjuda villkor som större bolag (köpare) ofta kräver. Att vi i Sverige har humana villkor om 30 dagar (som måhända blir 35-37 dagar med pappersgång, bokning och attestrutiner) är inte synonymt med att SME’s inte har behov av kortsiktigt kapital och att det behövs en rad initiativ för att säkra detta.

I den här intervjun pratar EBG med Roni Bicér, grundare och VD på Fakturabörsen. Vi pratar om fördomar och framtid, kund-/leverantörsrelationer och kapitalbinding och hur företag ska tänka i arbetet med att säkra såväl lång- som kortsiktigt kapital.
