Peter shared how he has aimed at developing a dynamic and proactive procurement organization and shared how he measure and organize in order to achieve set targets.

Procurement Directors wanting to lead a proactive procurement department is a commonly known ambition for most and also one of the biggest challenges. Trelleborg have used Qlik in their ambition to develop an organization that use fact based decisions to develop further. That too being one of the biggest challenges procurement (and all) directors face today. Large organizations having grown through mergers and acquisitions, multiple ERP systems, multiple data sources used to shape one single truth and not seldom de-centralized decision making processes are all challenges procurement face today.

Not too chocking the poll results revealthe desire to work proactively and manage stakeholder involvement. Adding to that the fragmented state of many procurement organizations, multiple data sources and de-centralized decision making – the need to create one single truth makes real sense.
