Ever heard of an organization that despite having published endless best practice documents on the intranet, undertaken a programme of initial education initiatives and onboarded thousands of suppliers early on, still doesn’t use their procurement system properly? Yes? Then you are welcome to join a forward thinking webinar where Ed Aviles from Basware, with his extensive background as a procurement professional in the insurance industry, invites you to join and explore 25 years of solutions built on best practice ideas.

Basware are adopting a company wide e-procurement methodology named WeProcurement™, aimed to transform company spending culture for Basware customers by changing employee behavior. Basware states: “By increasing employee engagement and emphasizing that everyone who buys goods and services has an important role to play, the system becomes self-managing – relieving the procurement team from having to police the organization so they can focus on more strategic initiatives.”

This webinar focuses on the increasing understanding within both businesses and the system development industry that the user aspect of reaching increased compliance cannot be overseen. Many times good intentions from procurement and finance are not realized due to the fact that the business doesn’t use systems as intended.

We often hear about business systems aiming to mimic consumer tools – but what does that mean in reality? Would you still have the same capabilities and be able to reach the same amount of desired control?

We go through:

  • How much of procurement and finance success relates on the business using procurement systems as intended?
  • How can procurement and finance use the “carrot” analogy to change behavior?
  • In what ways can goods purchasing behavior be rewarded and systems “learn” from business needs and purchasing behavior?
  • What does it take from procurement and finance to co-operate and balance between control and usability?

Compare notes with your peers joining live. All who register receive the slides and the recording. Your registration details and webinar responses will only be shared with the co-organizer. Practitioners have precedence.

Welcome!
