EcoVadis join CPO Outlook 2024

It was back in February 2016 EBG first came into contact with EcoVadis, doing an interview with Pierre-Francois Thaler, Co-Founder & Co-CEO at EcoVadis. You find the interview >>here.

For EBG it was already then evident that procurement knew very well how important sustainability related aspects were, and how hard they were to get insight into. Fast forward from that time when a lot of focus was on getting Code of conducts signed off. To today when no larger company can ignore the granular insights needed into any and all value chains related to end consumer goods and services.

Since 2016 EcoVadis have joined EBG summits and we are looking forward to sharing their insights during CPO Outlook 2024 too.

During the summit you can take part in their round table discussions focusing on;

How do you Engage with Suppliers as A Key to Leveraging Supply Chain Sustainability?

Companies have come a long way through signed supplier codes of conduct, online questionnaires and occasional onsite audits. It is becoming increasingly evident that companies and their suppliers through multi-tiers must find new ways of engaging with each other.

During this session, you will discuss the pivotal role of supplier engagement in driving supply chain sustainability. We will focus on exploring common challenges organizations face in engaging suppliers and presenting effective strategies to overcome these obstacles. Join us and discuss how to transform supplier relationships from basic compliance to collaborative partnerships that enhance sustainability.

This session will equip you with practical insights and actionable strategies along with peer experience exchange.

Discuss;

  • How do you effectively engage your suppliers to leverage sustainability throughout your supply chain?
  • Do you face push-back from the suppliers? How to overcome it?
  • As more and more granular supplier data will be required – how do you make it easy for your organization to follow set-up processes?

Discussion host will be Martyna Wojciechowska, Account Executive Enterprise Nordics at EcoVadis.

About CPO Outlook

In a day and age where it seem the bigger the better is the norm, EBG do the opposite. Since 2010 EBG have enabled smaller group discussions based on what each company, each facilitator want to share and discuss with peers interested in the same topic.

The best rating an EBG summit can get is “people were really open minded and willing to share” – and today this is still rare!

That EBG also bring together some of the greatest minds in Europe and beyond to have this experience exchange is of course the basis to success.

Make sure to >>register as seats are limited. Bring 3 colleagues and get a 30% discount including drinks & dinner!
