Bureau van Dijk join Source 2 Pay Summit 2020

Bureau van Dijk, a Moody’s Analytics Company are joining Source 2 Pay Summit 2020 on March 19th in Stockholm as an Expert Organization. On their website they state “Welcome to the business of certainty” and for sure getting deeper insights into data of different kind is as much as challenge as it is a necessity for all companies.

Financial risk has been prevailing for a long time, being the number one aspect considered by businesses when assessing risk among suppliers and other entities. But what does financial risk tell us about possible reputational risks? Ownership risks? Would you get different answers to what is most important to assess if you ask legal – finance or procurement? We say yes you will.

During a webinar EBG hosted with Bureau van Dijk and Aker Solutions, financial risk was rated as one of the most important risks when assessing the supply chain. But. Challenges that were identified (which EBG recognize) were too many suppliers and insufficient information on current and potential suppliers. Procurement know financial risk is just the top of the iceberg.

About Source 2 Pay Summit

The fundamentals of Source 2 Pay Summit are that the people addressed are among the most busy people in a business. Too few resources, increasingly global operations, constantly increased demand on visibility, control and tangible results.

People with incredible talent and passion to improve both as individuals and as employees.

What do you do then if you are able to gather these people in one room for one day? Do you place them on a chair and say “point your nose in that direction, see you in the afternoon”?

No.

You enable these people – coming from large organizations from across Europe – to actually learn from each other. To draw from all the experiences available in the room. To allow them to ask questions to each other and to find out they are not alone and that others can help them improve just a little bit (or a lot). It is the power of sharing for real.

It is also about not just clapping each others back saying we are doing good enough – it is challenging that feeling of me and us within My function. It is gathering people that – within the same company – may never or seldom even meet. But together have the power to make real change happen. Change that management in all companies are asking for but few are able to achieve. Progress does not ie in silos, it lies in collaboration.

It lies in Source 2 Pay Summit 2020 – for the 10th annual time.
