Billerud join CFO Outlook 2024

How do you execute what may seem like a straight forward strategy? Often strategies end up relying on stakeholders across functions collaborating. On data being accurate. On businesses being consistent. Many of which all of you know is often quite hard to predict. On April 25th you who join the summit in Stockholm can take part in multiple round table discussions and be inspired by several keynotes. The round table discussions – Theme Discussion – Jesper will host is enabled by Basware adding their decades of know how.

EBG just hosted a webinar during which Jesper presented their step by step finance development during the period 2021 and on. As so many organizations they saw the potential in overseeing a complex organization and processes. They took an end to end approach and realized the need to focus on habits and change management. Given they merged with another large company, data came into focus. The Financial Services in which Jesper work include accounts payable, accounts receivable and accounting & reporting. During these round table discussions Jesper will zoom in on accounts payable in particular and invoice optimization and automation in particular.

About CFO Outlook 2024

EBG was founded in 2010 as a result of the constant need to focus on change management founder Anna Bjärkerud saw. Independent of what business development areas she came across it was evident that businesses were (and still are) organized in silos yet business development require breaking down those barriers.

Going through any organization chart it is evident that businesses are organized into specified functions. As they most likely need to be, yet thus giving room for opportunities being lost and development possibilities not being fulfilled.

As much as companies need specialists – they also (think EBG) need change agents, people being able to see the possibilities on collaboration across functions and organizations. Changing markets, the speed in which technology evolve and the constant adapt pressure on most companies should help fuel the desire to bring together competences across processes. To oversee and consider – if we break down functional barriers and look at processes end to end – what will we see, what opportunities are there and who can make sure they are utilized?

An EBG summit help fuel that way of thinking. During CFO Outlook 2024 you meet competences such as (but not limited to) F&A Operations Manager, Country Finance Manager, Finance Development Manager, Development Manager, Director, Finance Development, Global Finance Support Senior Director, Global Finance Senior Manager, Senior Manager Accounting Shared Services, Group Controller, Global Process Owner, Purchase to Pay, Senior Vice President Accounting Services, RPA Lead, Financial Controller, Director, Record to Report.

In summary

CFO Outlook 2024 is a summit bringing end to end finance development experiences together. How do we create agile, data insight driven organizations with process visibility and control – end to end? How can new ways of working be balanced with old structures and habits? How can data and insights be embedded into every decision? How can real-time monitoring and response be created? How can process control be scaled across the business and GBS/CoE/SSC? How can local/regional and global silos be bridged to ensure insight driven forecasts and decisions? In what way can businesses use improved data insights and processes to comply with ESG and other regulations?
