EBG | Xperience Stockholm 2026: A Leadership Perspective For Procurement

February 17, 2026 By ebgnetwork

Spread the word

Every procurement leader knows what the challenges are. What’s rare is hearing how leaders are actually navigating them. Not polished case studies – but honest perspectives from people making decisions under the same pressure you are.

That’s what EBG | Xperience Stockholm delivers on April 23rd. Brief reflections and discussions. 30 procurement leaders. One room where the conversation is real.

Leadership perspectives – one morning-to-afternoon arc

The program follows a deliberate structure. It starts with the people question, moves through complexity and risk, and ends with AI.

Sveds-Hjalmar Söderlund, ABB opens the day. As AVP Global Program Lead for Procurement Digitalization, he brings a perspective on leading transformation across a large, deliberately decentralized organization. How do you drive change when people in different countries have their own ways of working? His perspective connects directly to the tension between central direction and local ownership.

Nils Holm Andersson, Orkla then shifts the conversation to complexity. As Director of Digital Procurement and Development, he navigates 25,000+ suppliers across 77 countries through multiple portfolio companies. Regulatory demands around supply chain risk and due diligence keep growing. Nils will share how they balance central structure with local decision-making – designing for decisions, not just data.

Luba Weissmann, Epiroc brings 20 years of experience in data and AI. As AI & Data Director, her perspective is refreshingly direct. AI isn’t a purpose – it’s a tool. The leaders who succeed ask better questions. Not “how do we do AI?” but “what problems are we solving?” She’ll share how Epiroc builds AI capability with a model where business owns solutions from day one.

Henrik Järleskog, Lead with AI completes the picture. As Co-founder & Managing Director and former Head of Future of Work at Sodexo, he addresses how leaders need to operate differently. What changes when human-AI teams become the default? And what does that mean for governance and readiness?

Why this procurement leadership event matters now

These themes didn’t come from a brainstorm. Instead, they came from 86 Nordic procurement leaders who participated in EBG | Xperience 2025.

The pattern was clear. 74% rate their digital maturity as “developing.” 0% say “leading.” In addition, 75% lack visibility beyond Tier 1 suppliers. And 60% are exploring AI but haven’t implemented it.

The gap isn’t skill. It’s the space between what teams can do and what the organization enables them to do. That’s a leadership challenge – and it needs a leadership conversation.

What you’ll take away

This isn’t a day of passive listening. Speakers present briefly. Then you spend time in roundtable discussions following up what was shared – working through each challenge together.

You leave with clarity on where you are relative to peers. Concrete perspectives on how others navigate the same tensions. And the kind of honest exchange that only happens among 30 open-minded leaders. Everyone leads a procurement function. No one needs to perform.

Event partners bringing expertise

EBG | Xperience is free for approved participants. This is made possible by event partners who contribute expertise to the conversation.

Coupa brings perspective on AI-native total spend management. They connect over 10 million buyers and suppliers on one platform. Accenture brings broad transformation capability across cloud, data, and AI. IntegrityNext brings focused supply chain sustainability and compliance expertise. With over 500 customers and 2 million suppliers across 190 countries, they add real depth to the risk discussions.

Event partners participate actively in roundtable discussions – contributing expertise alongside practitioners. That’s the model that earned a 5.5/6 rating from 2025 participants.

Who should apply

CPOs, Heads of Procurement, Procurement Directors, and Senior Transformation Leaders working in-house. One person per company. Maximum 30 participants. No consultants or solution providers can apply to join.

If you lead a procurement function and want leadership perspectives you can actually use – this half-day is built for you.
