AI in Category Management – JAGGAER Roundtable at CPO Outlook 2025
AI in Category Management – JAGGAER Roundtable at CPO Outlook 2025

At CPO Outlook 2025, JAGGAER will host a Theme Discussion on how AI can enable smarter category management. Robert Lindqvist, Sales Director Nordics, will lead the session “How can we effectively use AI in Category Management – and where do we currently stand?”

Why this matters

Procurement teams are under pressure to deliver risk-aware, insight-driven, and ESG-aligned outcomes across every category. But many still struggle with fragmented data, unclear ownership, and reactive processes. AI and augmented analytics promise a breakthrough. However, this is only if the data foundation is solid and platforms, processes, and people are aligned. JAGGAER’s roundtable invites leaders to step back from buzzwords. They will reflect on what really needs to change to unlock smarter category decisions.

What will be discussed

  • What core challenges still limit strategic category work — and how do they show up day to day?
  • How ready is your organization to use AI — and how much is data still a barrier?
  • Who owns the roadmap to integrated, AI-enabled category management — and are they empowered?
  • To what extent can current platforms (like JAGGAER) support the shift — and what more is needed to scale impact?

Knowledge loop: from Xperience to Outlook

At the EBG | Xperience workshops in 2025, participants stressed the growing workload in procurement. They also highlighted the difficulty of linking data, governance, and decision-making. JAGGAER’s roundtable continues this conversation. It asks how organizations can move from ambition to execution in AI-enabled category management.
