World class Risk management and Sustainability competences gathering on October 10th in Stockholm

At Sourcing Outlook 2019, attendees can choose from a variety of round table discussions. Called Theme Discussions by EBG – they are just that – group sessions where peers and experts can draw from each others experiences. Each session with a story of its own and with highly skilled moderators eager to both share experiences and learn from the group.

Let’s dig deeper into the different topics and areas that will be covered on October 10th – starting with Risk management and Sustainability.

Theme Discussions

Risk & Sustainability Focus

Minimizing risk and increasing sustainability is clearly for many both in the Sourcing Outlook 2019 program but also for the delegates joining. Not new these areas today are developing rapidly. New and increased ways of monitoring more and more detailed scenarios, quicker response possibilities to actual risks and ways to communicate with suppliers in due time. Not only when disaster has already struck – but continuously.

Being able to do so with more than your absolute top tier 1 suppliers is also becoming a reality. Shared and enhanced data is doing wonders to company insight and category managers, sourcing managers and CPOs to day truly have a possibility to act upon insight.

Risk & Sustainability during Sourcing Outlook 2019

Below are some of the Theme Discussions bringing risk and sustainability up for discussion. Seats are limited at each table and several of them run in parallel – consider bringing a colleague or two! As soon as you have registered you can start choosing what sessions to join. You can of course change your mind until a table is fully booked.

Lars Jönzén, Director Strategic Purchasing at Holmen and Nico Sagel, Account Executive at EcoVadis invite You to join the above Theme Discussion. How do You make code of conduct declarations an active part of your sourcing and procurement practices? How do you go from knowing you need to intensify your sustainability and CSR strategies and operations into actually making them come true across the organization and between You and your suppliers?

Claus Blæsbjerg, Head of Risk and Contract Management at Danfoss and Omeed Mosavat, EMEA Sales Manager at DHL Resilience360 invite You to join the above Theme Discussion. How do you create an end-to-end risk contious and transparent supply chain? How do You use data to prioritize?

Malin Schmidt, Founder & CEO at Kodiak Rating invite You to join their Theme Discussion. How aware are You about what is “under the hood” of your supply chain? Do you consider adding more value focused activities and collaborate more in-depth with your suppliers?

Kevin Alexander, Director of Procurement Solutions at Achilles invite You to join their Theme Discussions. Do you have a one size fit all approach to managing risk in your supply chain? How are you balancing between assurance, supplier proposition, risk management and insight? Are you able to also assess the commercial benefits and competitive advantages in your sourcing and procurement activities?
