SSAB join CFO Outlook 2024

EBG | Network welcome Anna Lagerhed, Global Manager People and Competence GBS at SSAB to CFO Outlook 2024. On April 25th you who join the summit can take part in her round table discussions focusing on how you lead continuous improvement in a centralized finance organization.

Someone said that Global Business Services, Shared Service Centers are moving from being the arms to being the head. Talent shortages, increased demands to more efficient and a constant change of regulations may be reasons why it make sense to focus resources. But how do you achieve this shift in reality? What competences do you need? How do you work with the competences you have and may need ahead?

All in all, if companies are serious in a desire to achieve end to end insight (how can you avoid wanting that) this is a perspective EBG think is crucial. Anna just happens to be very insightful with years of experiences working with intelligent automation and RPA at SSAB and Skanska.

How do you lead continuous improvement in centralized finance organizations serving multiple countries?

Many companies have decided to scale centralized resources into global or regional service organizations. Global Business Services or Shared Service Centers can have different operating models, structures and responsibilities. From a leadership perspective creating One organization across countries may mean cultural changes. As digitalization and a demand for more data driven insights increase – how do you as a leader foster change willingness? How can you help create the desire to be more proactive rather than play reactive detectives? As leadership and employees based on Baby boomers and Generation X are mixed with Millenials followed by Gen Z – what impact does that have your leadership strategies?

Discuss and compare;

  • How do you harmonize centralized organizations based in different countries?
  • Working with order to cash, purchase to pay and record to report transactions and processes – what does digital transformation mean to you?
  • As you incorporate more digital co-workers – what does that mean to you as a leader?
  • With new digitally native employees entering the workplace – how do you foster different competences and perspectives?

About CFO Outlook 2024

How often do you have the chance to have fruitful discussions along finance end to end competences? During CFO Outlook 2024 there will be several round table discussions all based on topics each moderator want to discuss with You sharing the same interests. You choose which sessions You want to join.

The basic idea is that strategies seldom take into account the numerous silos companies are organized in. The challenges overcoming those gaps in order to achieve desired results. Most people recognize data and change management are huge challenges yet it is seldom discussed.

Make sure to >>register since seats are limited. On April 24th EBG host an informal dinner you are welcome to join too.
